• TVOntario has picked up the second season of the preschooler Hi-5 (45 x 30) and the live-action The Shak (70 x 60) from Southern Star International.

• Equinoxe Films has bought the domestic rights to Everything's Gone Green, the Douglas Coupland adaptation that had been in limbo since the sale of ThinkFilm. The U.S. and Canadian release is set for April 13.

• Summerhill Television has signed a major deal with the Real Estate Channel - closing a multi-year pact that will air some 450 episodes of programs including Antique Hunter and Home Style on the soon-to-launch VOD channel. The Toronto shop's various programs will be cut into short segments, roughly five minutes, and presented as some 1,200 searchable webisodes.

• The Fight Network has signed a deal with Oakville, ON-based Movidity that will see its programming re-aired on cell phones, PDAs and other gadgets. Programming will be posted at movy.tv - an outlet for mobile content that also carries music videos, songs and other novelties.

• The Sci Fi Channel has ordered, to no great surprise, a fourth season (at least 13 x 60) of Battlestar Galactica, with plans to shoot this summer in B.C.
