* CBC has tapped Michael Claydon as commissioning editor for all docs and doc series, moving the Life and Times veteran into the job recently vacated by Jerry McIntosh.

* Madeleine Lévesque has left Teletoon to join 9 Story Entertainment (Skyland, Peep and the Big Wide World) in the newly created position of EVP of content development.

* Sophie Aird is the new general manager of distribution at TVA Films. Also at TVA, Karynn Austin has been promoted to director of distribution for English Canada.

* CTV has hired Matt Holland as manager of development and production in Quebec, where he will oversee pitches and development for the network and its cable siblings. Prior to CTV, Holland worked as a screenwriter (Moose TV) and as an analyst at Telefilm Canada.
