by: Nov 27, 2006 Print

USA Network is shooting a 90-minute pilot for To Love and Die in L.A. until Dec. 1 in Vancouver. The would-be series stars Shiri Appleby (Six Degrees) as a young woman reunited with her contract killer father, played by Tim Matheson (The West Wing).

Sara Goodman is creator and co-executive producer, with exec producers JoAnn Alfano (30 Rock, Sons & Daughters) and David Kanter (Crime & Punishment). Mark Piznarski (Veronica Mars, NYPD Blue) directs. The pilot is a Lorne Michaels' Broadway Video Television project with NBC Universal Television Studio.
