Sykes on the move again
by: Sep 4, 2006 Print

After nearly two years, Andy Sykes has left his post as VP business development at Toronto post-production house Deluxe Sound & Picture to start a new business.

Sykes was a cofounder and VP of Command Post & Transfer, which was purchased by Technicolor in 2004. He maintained his previous role at Technicolor during the transfer of power, but left for rival Deluxe soon afterwards.

Dan McLellan, Deluxe EVP and GM, characterizes Sykes' departure as amicable, and says his shop is not seeking a replacement.
