* CBC's sales wing has presold its The Secret History of 9/11 (2 x 60) in four territories - closing deals with France's TF1 Histoire, SBS in Australia, A&E Ole Networks in Latin America and Ireland's RTE.

* Christal Films has secured the Canadian rights to six films, including TIFF opener and Palme d'Or winner The Wind that Shakes the Barley, by director Ken Loach. The Montreal distributor will also handle My Blueberry Nights by Wong Kar-Wai and Woody Allen's latest, untitled project, due in 2007. Other deals cover the thriller Civic Duty, the U.S./Israel drama Forgiveness and the horror comedy Severance.

* Noted documentary Cracked Not Broken, by Paul Perrier, has been picked up by Zonemedia in the U.K., and aired last month on its Zone Reality channel.

* Four titles from SpaceWorks Entertainment and its spin-off Aurora Motion Pictures will be distributed in the U.S. via David Fox & Associates. Following a deal struck last month, Fox will handle home video and broadcast distribution for the comedy Drop Dead Roses, and the 1990s sci-fi titles Carver's Gate, Replikator and 2103: The Deadly Wake.

* Octapixx Worldwide has picked up the international distribution rights to the nature shows Wildlife Wranglers (13 x 30) and Cougar Crossings (1 x 45) by TVnewmedia.com.
