Toronto - The cast and crew of Runaway have set up shop at Toronto's Downsview Park for the six-month shoot of its first season. The 13 x 60 run, for Sony TV and newly formed CW Television Network, follows a family on the run from the law following a wrongful murder conviction and stars Mark Wahlberg.

Runaway comes from creators Darren Star (Sex and the City), Chad Hodge and Ed Zuckerman and is due to air in 2006/07.

Sony has also booked room at Cinespace until the end of September for The Company, a spy thriller based on the book by Robert Littell. The six-hour mini for TNT has reportedly signed leads Alfred Molina, Michael Keaton and Chris O'Donnell.

Ridley Scott and Tony Scott exec produce with John Calley (The Da Vinci Code) and Cary Brokaw (Angels in America), with Mikael Salomon (Band of Brothers, Rome) directing the script by Ken Nolan, who previously adapted Black Hawk Down. The novel follows the careers of three CIA agents through the Cold War.
