* Decode Entertainment has sold its kids series Chop Socky Chooks (52 x 30) and Planet Sketch (13 x 11) to Danish public broadcaster TV2. Both titles are copros with Aardman Animations in the U.K. TV2 also picked up Decode's 3D animated The Save-Ums.

* Ellis Releasing picked up several factual titles from Fireworks International at MIPTV, including profile series Great Souls (6 x 60), the psychic show Beyond with James Van Praagh (147 x 30) and the one-off history piece The True Intrepid: Sir William Stephenson Declassified.

* CCI Entertainment has sold the as-yet-unmade kids series Frankenstein's Cat (30 x 11) to the U.K.'s CBBC and ABC Australia.

* Among its many deals at MIPTV, CHUM International sold its Heat Meter (15 x 30) and ABCs of Rock (26 x 30) to JIM TV in Belgium. South Korea's Donga TV bought the 18 x 30 Much in Your Space, 4-The Story TV in Hungary picked up 150 hours, including 260

x 30 of Star! Daily, and DBS Satellite Services in Israel bought the one-hour doc Operation Homecoming.

CHUM has also signed a 21.5-hour online deal with U.S.-based Oceanic Image Studios for its Line TeVe platform, and sold its Citytv format to Fuego Entertainment in Pueto Rico. This follows last month's sale of the same format to Channel M in the U.K.

* Just For Laughs Distribution has sold season one of The Tournament (6 x 30) to OLN in the U.S.

* Distributor Tricon Films and Television has picked up the one-hour doc Cracked Not Broken by director Paul Perrier.

* Nelvana has signed an online distribution deal for its Jacob Two-Two cartoon, bypassing TV in favor of KOL, the kid-aimed wing of AOL.

At MIPTV, the Toronto toon house also sold its 52 x 30 series 6Teen to Nicktoons Networks in the U.S. Nickelodeon International, meanwhile, bought the 26 x 30 Wayside School for broadcast in territories including the U.S., the U.K., Germany, Israel and Australia. Nelvana also sold its 26 x 30 cartoon Willa's Wild Life to Discovery Kids Channnel.

* Bardel Entertainment and B Wooding Media have sold the 13 x 30 series and MOW trilogy (3 x 72) of the fantasy cartoon Silverwing to Jetix Latin America. KIKA in Germany also bought the trilogy.

* Ivan Reitman, the Montecito Picture Company and Rampage Entertainment (Bob the Butler) have optioned the script Drake Diamond: Exorcist for Hire from B.C.-based Arne Olsen (Here's to Life).
