* CBC has ordered two pilots of the behind-the-scenes hockey drama MVP from Screen Door (Shades of Black, Prom Queen).

* Jet Li (Unleashed) and Jason Statham (The Transporter) are shooting the action feature Rogue in Vancouver until April 28. Prolific music video director Phillip Atwell is helming for Lionsgate Films.

* Cheap and Dirty Productions is shooting The Safer Sex Trade, an hour about Canada's "contradictory attitude to prostitution," in Vancouver until May, for CBC's The Lens.
