Key grip Dave Derry, a familiar face in the commercial industry, has qualified for the Canadian triathlon team.
Derry is traveling to the World Championships in Wellington, n.z., where the ex-smoker will compete Nov. 27. Derry says the production community has been very supportive, and names P.S. Production Services, Panavision, Derek Van Lint and Associates, Laird's, David Woods, Sim Video and Martin Malivoire as among those who are subsidizing travel expenses.
