Camera unions merge

IATSE Local 667 (photographers) has merged with the Camera Guild of Canada after about 18 months of negotiations. The Camera Guild has ceased to exist and most of its 60 members have joined iatse. Local 667 president Rick Perotto says he is now talking to photographer members of the Association of Canadian Film Craftspeople to see if they too are interested in merging, thereby creating a single photographers union in Canada.
