CTV's Flashpoint has been sold by international co-distributors Alchemy Television and Tele Munchen Group to more than 50 territories.

Los Angeles-based Alchemy and Germany's Tele Munchen on Thursday confirmed the rookie Canadian drama had been picked up by ITV in Britain and TVNZ in New Zealand.

Other territories that Flashpoint has sold into include France, Germany, Italy, Spain, Latin America and Scandinavia.

An Alchemy spokesman said more deal confirmations will emerge this week and next, as deals with broadcasters in major territories are "100% closed, all Is dotted and Ts crossed, which of course is a constantly evolving situation."

Flashpoint, produced by Avamar Entertainment and Pink Sky Entertainment, currently airs on CTV in Canada and CBS in the U.S. Both nets have shifted the Canadian cop series from Friday nights to Thursday nights at 10 p.m. after an impressive debut by its first two episodes.

Alchemy and Tele Munchen are also selling a host of other TV series in which Canadian producers have a hand, including the Sam Neill-starrer Iron Road and Sea Wolf, a $19 million Canada/U.K. coproduction with Halifax-based Big Motion Pictures that recently wrapped in Nova Scotia.
