Astral's Family Channel has unveiled a chock-full schedule for its newest channel, Playhouse Disney Canada, which is set to hit the airwaves on Nov. 30.

The channel, which will be available to Family subscribers only, is looking to entice younger viewers with a variety of Disney programs including the popular Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, Aladdin, My Friends Tigger & Pooh and Little Einsteins, as well as new shows including Bunnytown, Imagination Movers and Special Agent Oso. Disney shows make up 60% of the channel's lineup.

Canadian series including Franny's Feet, Henry's World, King and Katie and Orbie will also be seen on the preschool channel.

"With the introduction of Playhouse Disney, we are now able to focus on younger children and deliver the entertainment experience that younger kids want, coupled with the commitment to safe, development-based programming that parents demand," said Astral SVP of programming Kevin Wright in a release.

About 5.5 million Canadian households currently subscribe to Family.
