Stillwell leaves Planet
by: Jan 24, 2007 Print

Television personality Natasha Stillwell is saying goodbye to science magazine Daily Planet to pursue broadcasting opportunities in the U.K., after a four-year cohosting stint on the popular Discovery Channel series.

Stillwell will cohost her final episode with Jay Ingram on Feb. 2 at 7 p.m. in a show that will include a look back at her tenure on the series.

"I'm incredibly proud to have been part of such a smart, far-reaching and engaging TV show," Stillwell said in a press release.

In addition to Daily Planet, Stillwell also cohosted various Discovery specials and the six-part series Break It Down, inspired by her weekly behind-the-scenes segment on Daily Planet.

Discovery Channel will soon announce casting details for a new Daily Planet cohost.
